Normobaric oxygen therapy
Normobaric Oxygen Therapy is an innovative procedure that is available at both of the Sofra Institute of Health's locations. The procedure consists of comfortable breathing in of a tailor-made mix of air particles coupled with increased air pressure.
Thanks to the near doubling of oxygen levels in our body, a number of processes conducive to our health are activated. In short oxygen therapy increases the multiplication of own stem cells 8 fold, supports the functioning of the immune system, revitalizes cells, cleanses the body of toxins, heavy metals and free radicals. It also reinforces the pro-health qualities of our diets.
NORMOBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Description of the procedure
A session in the normobaric chamber (in which a maximum of 10 people can take part) is preceded by entry into an airlock, the role of which is to help slowly, safely and gradually increase the pressure to match that of the chamber. The procedure is fully safe and lasts for around 5-10 minutes.
During the procedure, patients, under the watchful eye of an instructor, do breathing exercises on a lung trainer (lung fitness). Oxygen therapy is a safe procedure and lasts 90 minutes.
